Executive Director

As HSRL’s Executive Director, Carrie manages the staff and coordinates deadlines. Her experience and background as a project manager, pathology coordinator and research associate prepared her for her primary role managing the day-to-day operations for HSRL. She assigns tasks and manages workflow for staff pathologists and Research Associates, informs the Quality Assurance Unit of workload and deadlines, prepares cost estimates and communicates with clients regarding project status and project deadlines. Carrie supervises office staff and assigns operational support for pathologists. She is responsible for allocating the proper resources to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects and reports. Carrie attends several symposia each year, including the Society of Toxicology, the Society of Toxicologic Pathology and the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
