HSRL Necropsy

We provide necropsy supervision and prosector services to all clients who are in need of such services.

Our team consists of two boarded pathologists and 4 highly-trained prosectors. The HSRL necropsy team is trained in the following species: mouse, rat, ferret, guinea pig, rabbit, dog and non-human primate.

HSRL Histology Since our inception in 1999, HSRL has processed over 800 GLP Toxicology studies and thousands of non-GLP studies.

We offer GLP slide preparation for any size project. We can process your study in the following media: Paraffin, Optimal Cutting Temperature (OCT, frozen section) or Glycomethacrylate (GMA).

Our slides are absolutely consistent in presentation of tissues to facilitate pathologists’ evaluations and contribute to pathologist efficiency.

Our trained group of histotechnicians routinely stain for bacteria, fungi, microorganisms, carbohydrates, connective tissue, pigments/minerals, and special stains for the central nervous system. We can accommodate specific as well as modified staining procedures.

Quality Assurance Unit Our Quality Assurance auditors perform a 100% data audit on every GLP study processed at HSRL.
